Marian Boys and Girls Ministry is the children’s ministry of St Alphonsa Syro Malabar Mission of Virginia, dedicated to Our Blessed Mother, where a spiritual environment is provided to preserve the holiness through activities based on sacred scripture and sacred tradition of Catholic Church, through Her intercession.

Marian Boys and Girls ministry was originally founded in October 2014 under the spiritual guidance and vision of Fr Jijo Joy Mullakkara. We conduct kids ministry meetings once a month, either on the first or second Saturday. Activities focus on achieving holiness by spiritual exercise. The main focus of this ministry is to help children actively participate in the holy mass, just as His Holiness Pope Pius X said, "Don’t pray at Holy Mass, but pray the Holy Mass." Children also has opportunity for confession at each children's ministry meeting. Other activities include games and activities appropriate for the season.

Overall, the basic goal of our children’s ministry is to nurture and nourish our children spiritually so that they grow in wisdom and in favor with God and with people.
